Digital stamp cards and points for Hong Kong merchants
How CharterPass gives cafés, shops and service businesses a full loyalty suite — stamp cards, points, rewards and member discounts — all redeemed with one QR scan at the counter.
Paper stamp cards still work — that's why every second café in Hong Kong has one. But they get lost, they get photocopied, and they tell you nothing about your customers. CharterPass keeps what works (the satisfying "one more stamp") and fixes the rest.
What merchants can run
Stamp cards. Classic buy-X-get-one, fully digital. You define the card — how many stamps, what the reward is — and customers collect on their phone. No more rubber stamp drying out, no more suspiciously full cards appearing out of nowhere.
Points programmes. Award points on spend, let customers redeem them against rewards you define. Points and stamps can run side by side.
Rewards. Both programmes end in something redeemable — a free drink, a discount, a gift. Redemptions happen at the counter, verified on your screen, so there's no arguing about whether a reward was already used.
Member discounts. If your customers include members of CharterPass organizations, you can list member-only offers they'll find in their perks tab — and star, if they like you.
The counter flow
Everything happens through one scan at the counter:
- The customer shows the QR from their app.
- Your staff scan it with the counter scanner — a browser page, so it runs on whatever phone or tablet is already at the till.
- Staff add stamps, award points, or redeem a reward, and the customer sees the result on their phone immediately.
Staff accounts are separate from the owner account, so part-timers can scan and stamp without seeing your programme settings or customer list.
What you learn
Every stamp and redemption is recorded, so you finally see what a paper card can't show: how many active cards are out there, how often people come back, and which rewards actually get redeemed. Your customer list is searchable and exportable as CSV.
