Introducing CharterPass — one digital pass for Hong Kong memberships
Why we built CharterPass, and how it replaces plastic member cards, sign-in sheets and spreadsheets for Hong Kong clubs, societies, alumni groups and unions.
Most Hong Kong organizations still run their membership the same way they did twenty years ago: a plastic card in the wallet, a paper sign-in sheet at the door, and a spreadsheet somewhere on a committee member's laptop that may or may not be the latest version.
CharterPass replaces all three with one thing your members already carry — their phone.
What's in the box
A digital member pass. Every approved member gets a wallet-style pass with a personal QR code. No printing run, no "I forgot my card", no reissuing when someone changes committee role. The pass shows the member's name, membership status, role and validity — and flips over to reveal the QR when it's time to scan.
Events with QR check-in. Publish an event, take registrations in-app, and on the day your door staff scan each member's pass with any phone. Check-in takes about a second, and the attendance list writes itself.
Member perks. Partner merchants list member-only offers that members redeem straight from the app. Members can star their favourite perks so the ones they actually use are always on top.
Stamp cards and points. Merchants can run digital stamp cards and points programmes with redeemable rewards — collected at the counter with the same QR scan.
Broadcasts. Send an announcement to every member in one tap. Updates land in a home feed members can read and dismiss, instead of drowning in yet another group chat.
A real member roster. Behind it all sits a searchable CRM with an approval workflow, payment-proof review, and CSV export for your committee's records.
Who it's for
We built CharterPass for the organizations Hong Kong actually runs on: sports clubs, alumni associations, professional societies, hobby groups, unions and chambers. If your organization has members, collects fees, runs events, and wants to give members something back — it fits.
What it costs
Registering an organization is free, and you don't need an account to start the registration. You set your own membership tiers and fees; members apply through the app and you approve them.
